The Kaiser Chief’s predicted it. It has been absolute Anarchy in the UK This week.
From my personal experience its been really Scary. While sitting and watching it on the news I know all these areas that have been hit so badly and effected so many people know, I’m just glad that nobody I know was injured or lost there homes to this pointless riot. When I went into work yesterday numerous windows around Bromley where I work where smashed and there where Police everywhere. We where warned by a lot of people to board up our clinic and go home because at 2pm it was supposed to kick off on Bromley, then it reached 2pm and nothing.. so we where told 4pm and we waited till 4pm and nothing then they said 8pm.. and By this point we decided because everyone else had closed we may as well have an early day and to be honest I really didn’t want to be heading home in the dark. But a lot of scaremongering has been spread. The media are the worst. I wanted to listen because I wanted to be kept updated on where was getting badly hit but it was just worrying me so much and people came into the clinic and spread more rumours saying “there’s gangs of about 50 kids heading here now close up!”.
I just find it absolutely ridiculous that the parents of these kids that are as young as 9!! Are aloud to continue to roam the streets. I don’t believe this is race issue as majority of the people I’ve seen around in there rioting gear (Hoodies, track pants, face scarf’s) Have been white. And anyone who thinks this is a Protest is out of there mind, most of these kids have no idea how to spell protest. They have no reason to commit these crimes they’re just doing it for fun and a free TV.
I signed a petition today that I think everyone in the UK should sign that will take away benefits from those that have joined in on the riots. The government Houses these people and pays them a weekly wage to sit on there ass’s and do nothing about getting a job. And for those that claim for a disability like “back Pain” You all seemed to be able to lift a TV alright so I think you’ll be fine to go back to work mate.
Anyway My rant is complete! I have a lot more to say but I’ll spare you!!!
